Shipping Methods
Our products ship the most economical way. Many of our products ship via UPS; however, the heavier items and large orders may require shipment via Common Carrier. For products that ship via Common Carrier, we will choose the best carrier for this method. On Common Carrier shipments, the driver will bring the product to the truck tailgate. The consignee is responsible for offloading merchandise from the tailgate.
Shipping & Handling Charges
Shipping charges are F.O.B. nearest available shipping point. Shipping & Handling charges will be calculated and displayed during Checkout. Customers are responsible for all Shipping & Handling charges. Barco Products will prepay all Shipping charges (UPS and Common Carrier) and add the costs to the invoices, passing along any discounts by freight carriers.
Power Lift-gate
Recommended for heavier or large shipments, this option is only available for Common Carrier shipments. A power lift-gate will assist the receiver by lowering the merchandise from the truck to the ground for easy removal. Order a power lift-gate if you are unable to unload the shipment. Customer must remove the shipment from the lift-gate. There is no fee for this service; however, this option needs to be noted at time of order.
Call Before Delivery
The Call Before Delivery option is for destinations not having standard business hours for truck deliveries and is only available for Common Carrier shipments. We recommend that residential customers request a Call Before Delivery for all orders that ship Common Carrier; customer must be present for delivery. There is no fee for this service; however, this option needs to be noted at time of order.
If a customer is not available when shipment arrives and a second attempt is necessary, additional delivery charges will apply.
UPS will not call ahead even if you have other items shipping via Common Carrier. You may not change your delivery address (Ship-to) at time of the Call before Delivery. Only Barco Products may change a ship-to address, at your request, after the initial ordering process begins.
Delivery Hours
Standard delivery hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please note on your order if your facility has special delivery hours.
Damage During Shipping
Occasionally damage occurs during shipping so please remember to inspect your products for visible and hidden damage. It is important to note any damage on the Bill of Lading before you and the driver sign off on the shipment. All packaging and paperwork should be kept until the inspection process is completed. Please contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-338-2697 for return/replacement instructions. Damage and shortage claims must be reported within 10 days of delivery.
Partial Shipments
When ordering multiple products on a single order, delivery dates may vary. Products ship from various warehouses. Be assured, your entire order will be delivered as quickly as possible.
Lead Time
All orders are processed upon receipt. Actual shipping time is contingent upon availability of merchandise and credit verification. Most products are shipped within 10-14 business days from receipt of order. Orders are processed and shipped during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Please view individual product pages for more accurate lead times. At times, particularly during the summer season, we may experience an unexpected delay in manufacturing certain products. Customized products generally have a longer lead time.
